Dissemination of the quality of pre-school education in the Cedry Wielkie commune
Cedry Wielkie commune together with two partners: the EDUFUN Foundation from Puck and the NOVA Foundation from Gdańsk implements since June 2016 a project entitled: “Dissemination of the quality of pre-school education in the Cedry Wielkie commune”. As part of the project, from September 2017, a pre-school department for 25 children was set up in the building after the Primary School in Trutnowy. The building has been renovated in order to adapt it to the requirements of pre-school education institutions. Modern equipment, multimedia equipment and teaching aids were also purchased. As part of the project, pre-school facilities in Cedry Małe and in Koszwałach were also provided with didactic aids and interactive boards. The partners in the project are responsible for the implementation of additional classes for preschoolers and postgraduate training for teachers. The EduFun Foundation carries out additional activities for children in the preschool in Cedry Małe and in the branches in Koszwałach and Trutnowa in the areas of: mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, robotics, etc. Classes are conducted in the form of games and experiments. The Foundation will also realize twice during the project of creativity festivities and days with education, in which families of children attending kindergartens covered by the project will be able to participate. The Nova Foundation is responsible for conducting courses and training for teachers and organizing postgraduate studies for them in the field of: speech therapy, English language, corrective gymnastics.
