Creating pre-school education places in the area of MOF Starogard Gdański
Starogard Gdański Commune together with the Starogard Gdański Municipal Commune, Bobowo Commune and the Foundation for the Development of Education and Local Communities “In Fortes” in the period from 01/09/2017 to 31/07/2019 with the implementation of the partnership project “Creating pre-school education places in the area of MOF Starogard Gdański”
As part of the project, in the area of the commune associated in the MOF Starogard Gdański, insurance was launched for 232 preschool places for children aged 3-4 years, for which 5 new preschool departments and 7 kindergarten points are offered. The newly created institutions were equipped with the necessary furniture for children, carpets, toys, teaching aids, RTV, ITC equipment, such as an interactive touch board, multimedia projector, special educational programs, tools for the development of preschool children, and sets, puzzles and art supplies.
Moreover, in all institutions covered by the project, the quality of school education, the scope of teaching competences and the equalization of opportunities were improved by introducing additional language classes, construction and technical classes, correction classes and speech therapy workshops. Educational offer for children taught by a psychologist about sports activities, creative teamwork activities, as well as field trips and cognitive activities.
As part of the supporting project, support was provided to pre-school teachers who had the opportunity to participate in co-financed training or specialized courses improving their professional qualifications. The project envisaged other further training of teachers from innovative teaching methods in teaching theory, based on the development of personal characteristics in the child. Another price of courses for teaching staff are courses and trainings in the field of developmental and cognitive research, in the field of ICT products for work with pupils. For each exit of pre-school education, the project has been developed an annual plan to support the facility, including a detailed thematic scope of lectures, workshops, training, courses that contributed to improving qualifications and qualifications in the area of equalizing qualifications opportunities in the area of equal qualification opportunities.
