"Malbork na" + "- social activities"
The “Malbork na” + “- social activities” project is targeted at young people and families in the area of revitalization, which was covered by specialist support, counseling, yard work and classes on the development of key competences strengthening family ties.
Due to the connection with the investment project, the rooms and conditions for the implementation of social activities were prepared first. Classes take place in two buildings over 100 years old. The first of them on ul. Sienkiewicza 43 – the former Protestant chapel – has been adapted to the tasks of the day support facility in the formula of care and specialist work and Family Counseling Center. It is a space for children aged 7-12. The second building is a water tower from 1905, which was built as part of the establishment of waterworks in the city, and has survived to this day unchanged. The four-storey building was adapted min. for the implementation of the tasks of a day support facility in the formula of yard work with a point for street workers and partisans and a club for young people aged 13-19. At the highest level there is a viewpoint from which you can admire Żuławy. Both facilities are adapted for the disabled.
The project is implemented by the City of Malbork in partnership with the Polish Scouting Association the Banner of Gdańsk.
