Utworzenie nowej siedziby Domu Kultury na terenie dworca PKP Pleszew Miasto
The objective of the project was to establish a new registered office of the Cultural Centre, called Zajezdnia Kultury using the premises of Pleszew Miasto railway station. The investment involved a change concerning the manner of using the historic station building which is entered into the register of monuments as well as its reconstruction and expansion paired with installations, provision of technical devices and other technical infrastructure. Moreover, the surroundings of the building were developed as part of the construction works.
In addition to construction works, the followings tasks significant for the project were carried out: the purchase of equipment necessary for the functioning of the facility, the organization of activities and cultural events, including: sound equipment, audio-visual equipment, piano, drum kit and accordion, a ceramic firing furnace, graphics press, system for hanging exhibitions, furniture and kitchen equipment. The Culture Centre includes the main concert hall. There is also a dance and ballet classroom, music rooms and various workshops and class rooms as well. What is more, the administration is located here, too. In total, the facility consists of 27 rooms.
