Diversifying the energy sources of the parish Mercy of God in Szczecin by development of a photovoltaic installation
The project included an investment activity, i.e. comprehensive design and construction of a system of micro-installations generating electricity from the solar energy with a capacity of approx. 0.03796 MW, installed on the property with two buildings – the church and the parish house building.
The property in question has alternative renewable energy sources: heat pump (church building) and solar thermal collectors (parish house building). All obtained electricity will be consumed and used for own needs. In particular, the installation works covered:
- construction of the necessary supporting structures for the installation of PV modules,
- construction of passages through partitions (ceiling, roof, walls) for electric cables and their protection,
- cabling for connecting the PV panels,
- installation of inverters / inverters for servicing PV panels,
- connection of inverters / inverters of PV modules to the power system of the installation.
Electricity generated by the designed photovoltaic micro-installation system is intended to power the existing facilities. Its energy generation capability will contribute to reducing energy consumption in the overall balance of the property.
