Reconstruction of the heating system of the city of Konin
The aim of the project is to optimize the city’s district heating system, i.e. to adjust the oversized main (mainly overhead) and distribution networks to current needs. As part of the reconstruction of the district heating network, MPEC Konin will carry out 15 tasks between 2018 and 2021, with diameters ranging from Dn 40 mm to Dn 1000 mm. The total length of the network covered by the Project is about 7.5 km.
Implementation will allow:
- reduce primary energy consumption by 39,129 GJ per year,
- decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 6,624 Mg/year,
- improve the hydraulics of the district heating network and shorten the time of district heating water supply to the farthest from the heat sources of consumers.
