Renovation of a building at 6 Pocztowa Street in Jelenia Góra
In the centre of Jelenia Góra, at 6 Pocztowa Street one may encounter a historical townhouse which, thanks to the support of the EU funds, astonishes the passers-by and inhabitants yet again. The building was in desperate need of renovation and thanks to the initiative of the homeowner association located inside it which pursued the funding in the framework of the regional programme. The building is now thermally insulated and has gained new facades as well as stairs and a brand new stairway. The investment was quite costly due to the fact that the object is from 1912. It has many ornaments and decorations that required particularly careful stucco works. All renovation works were agreed and supervised by the conservator of historical buildings. But it was worth it. Now, the inhabitants of the community enjoy beautiful surroundings and may be proud of the way the building presents itself, attracting the eyes of passer byes and finally looking like a true, unique monument.
