Thermal modernization of public buildings in the Capital City of Warsaw Warsaw
The subject of the project is thermomodernization of five selected public buildings located in Mokotów, Praga Południe, Targówek and Bielany. The facilities covered by the project: Nursery No. 44 at ul. Wejherowska 1, School Complex Piotr Wysocki at ul. Odrowąża 75, Primary School No. 271 at ul. Niegocińska 2, School Complex No. 84 at ul. Zwycięzców 44, Warsaw Family Support Center at ul. Lipińska 2. The activities implemented under the project will lead to an improvement in the technical condition and increase of the energy efficiency of buildings, and thus reduce the energy consumption of selected facilities in the future. The scope of work includes, depending on the results of energy audits: insulation, replacement of window and door joinery, replacement of the installation and central heating node, replacement of lighting for energy-saving, as well as the use of photovoltaic cells for additional energy production. Thermomodernization of buildings in the Capital City of Warsaw Warsaw is a perfect example of how the condition and comfort of using public infrastructure can be improved with the help of EU funds. As a result of the project, the energy efficiency of buildings will be increased by approx. 60% in total. The planned thermomodernization will also have a positive impact on the reduction of CO2 emissions, which will be reduced by approx. 60% compared to the state before implementation. The improvement of the technical condition of the buildings neglected for many years is all the more important as the buildings covered by the project serve to a large extent the youngest residents of the city (1 nursery, 2 primary schools).
