VeloKrynica - construction of a spa tourist and recreational route in Krynica-Zdrój
With the support of EU funds, the VeloKrynica cycle route was created. It links the two most famous spa towns in Małopolska: Krynica-Zdrój and Muszyna. This 12-kilometer section starts at the Krynica promenade and leads along the green path to Krynica Dolna, then through Powroźnik to Muszyna. The route is suitable for all types of bicycles and can easily be ridden by even the youngest cyclists.
Both cyclists and both cities win from this investment, because now you can easily plan a one-day trip to a neighbouring health resort or check out nearby bicycle routes for instance AquaVelo or VeloNatura.
An interesting idea is to line part of the route with fluorescent aggregate, which, supplemented with the greenish colour of the concrete, makes for a really interesting ‘glowing’ effect after dark.
