Construction of a bicycle path around the Czorsztyn Lake - section III: Larch Trail - bicycle route in Dębno (from Harklowa to the bridge in Dębno)
The idea of the project was to supplement the map of interesting places of the Podhale Region’s tourist attractions with a unique bicycle path leading over and along the Czorsztyn Lake, intended for tourists and residents of the Malopolska Region. The project was carried out mainly thanks to its access to an attractive area, presenting interesting and unique conditions of the natural environment, which should be characterized and revealed for research purposes. The new bicycle route runs through the villages of: Harklowa and Dębno in the Nowy Targ municipality. The beginning of the cycle path runs along the DW969 provincial road, then under the bridge leading to Knurów and then along the Dunajec shoreline on a raised embankment. The investment included: construction of a two-way bicycle route, 2.5 m wide and nearly 5 km long, construction of 1 Cyclist Service Area and a bicycle shelter in Dębno.
