As a result of realising this project, the accessibility and the quality of highly specialised health services will be improved in the field of the cardiovascular system diseases. It will be provided by the institution for all of the residents not only living in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. Reconstructing and modernising the Cardian and Cardiac Intensive Care wards as well as supplying tchem with the modern specialised equipment and medical instruments will contribute to the complex treatment of patients with cardiovascular system diseases, by using the functioning diagnostic-and-therapeutic base such as vascular research and interventional radiology labolatories, CT and MRI labolatories, or Stroke and Cardiovascular surgery units.
The realisation of this project will primarily contribute to the complex treatment of patients with heart and vascular system diseases, by using the functioning diagnostic-and-therapeutic base such as vascular studies and interventional radiology, CT and MRI labolatories, or Stroke and Cardiovascular Surgery units. It will also contribute to the next stage of the reconstruction – creating a hybrid operating room, which will allow to simultaneously treat heart and huge vessels diseases by the multidisciplinary team of specialists. Due to the modernisation of the infrastructure and the investment in the modern diagnostic-and-therapeutic equipmentm, it will be possible to perform more examinations, and at the same time cut the waiting time, as well as cut the growth of the effects achieved in the field of the healthcare.
