Poligrafia Kłyszewski Połosak has been active on the market for 30 years, offering offset printing of packaging, POS materials, advertising and office materials.
The project was intended to develop a new display system with a smart shelf and dedicated packaging for introducing additional customer interaction and gathering sales data.
As a result of the project, the company launched a new product on the market – a smart display system which enables interaction with a data base, the sending of data concerning the quantitative state of the display by text or email, and vocal or visual interaction the moment a product is taken from the stand. Aside from its attractive appearance and the introduction of modern forms of advertising based on interaction with the customer, this product also enables data to be gathered regarding customer behaviour. A new feature is the expansion of information concerning sales made (goods off shelves) to cover decision times or negative decisions (how many people replaced the goods).
The launch of a smart display system was a response to the needs of customers, including those of advertising companies and manufacturers interested in modern ways of advertising their products. The company sold its first display systems to its customers in the second half of 2019, and by October 2020 sales of the system had reached a value of 2m złotys and continued to rise. More and more companies are expressing an interest in buying the display systems, which are an excellent tool for promoting products sold.
The project also contributed to the development of the printed sensor industry and the entire printed electronics market.
