Rational decisions in the health care system, with a focus on regional health policy
The project “Rational decisions in the health care system, with particular emphasis on regional health policy” is implemented under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development (OP WER), financed by the European Social Fund (ESF). The project aims to support the area of health through pro-quality activities and organizational solutions in the health care system to facilitate access to affordable, sustainable and high quality health services. Most of the tasks of the project in question are educational in nature.
The project will be implemented in 2019-2022 throughout the country.
The recipients of educational activities are:
in the field of drafting health policy programs (PPZs), final reports on the implementation of PPZs and the use of lessons learned from scientific evidence – representatives of the founding bodies of health care entities, including employees of local government units, people involved in the development of regional health policy and representatives of patient organizations;In the area of the process of tariffing of guaranteed benefits – persons employed in medical entities that have an impact on decisions in the area of finances, as well as employees of financial, procurement, billing, statistical and coding departments of medical entitiesin the field of creating and adapting guidelines in accordance with the principles of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) for medical staff – employees of medical entities, including management staff in entities performing medical activities, employees of founding bodies for hospitals and other medical entities operating in the public health system, the public payer and representatives of patient organizationsin the field of health technology assessment (HTA) and EBM for entities creating the health care system in Poland (HTA Academy) – employees of medical entities, including management staff in entities performing medical activity, employees of founding bodies for hospitals and other medical entities operating in the public health care system, public payer and representatives of patients’ organizations.
