The subject of the project was the purchase of 6 new five-unit electric multiple units, a post-crash repair package, employee training and a train driving simulator.

An additional goal of the project was to purchase a train driving simulator, thanks to which it is possible to improve the qualifications and competences of train drivers and to conduct trainings for candidates for train drivers. The purchase of the simulator significantly contributed to the improvement of driving safety through the possibility of testing the driver’s behavior in unusual, emergency and random events.
he project contributed to shortening the travel time on the Warsaw – Działdowo route, and also had a positive impact on increasing the safety and comfort of travel.
All purchased vehicles fully comply with the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSI). The vehicles are equipped with ERTMS level 2 European Train Control System modules (ETCS + GSM-R) and are adapted to the transport of disabled people.
