Modernizacja dawnego kościoła NMP - obecnie siedziby Centrum Sztuki Galeria EL w Elblągu
The subject of this project is the modernisation of the former Dominican church – the headquarters of Art Centre Gallery EL.
In the framework of this project, conservation and building works are predicted, including the implementation of a drainage, horizontal and vertical isolation, renovation of the faces of the walls, the refurbishment of windows and plasterwork, purchasing the equipment for the exhibition hall, turning it into performance-technical hall, adapting the object to fulfill interdisciplinary tasks. It will also include the organisation of two spectacular projects ‘’light and sound’’, involving the history of this building and EL Gallery as well as the third edition of Jazzbląg and Resonances Festival. Due to the realisation of the task the tourism potential of the city and the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship will grow, the same way as the numer of people benefiting from the offer of the Gallery.
The realisation of these tasks is going to allow to create an offer adapted to the needs of a modern customer and form a lebelled tourist-cultural product. The project will also contribute to the behaviour, security, promotion and cultural heritage development.
The actions within the project will also allow to preserve the precious monument and at the same time helping to maintain the cultural heritage and its use for the development by creating an unique tourist-cultural offer.
