Launching the production of innovative card and board games protected with biocidal varnish
The main activity of the Trefl Playing Card Company – Kraków is the production of playing cards and board games. The aim of the project was to launch and implement the production of innovative card and board games protected with biocidal varnish. The project was a response to the dynamic development of the industry in Poland and Europe and to the constantly increasing product requirements of contractors.
Modern machines and devices were purchased:
- offset, 5-colour printing machine (maximum format: B1 size), with the possibility of applying dispersion varnish
- cutting and embossing machine
- two automatic lines for the production of wrapped packaging
- automatic line for cutting playing cards
- industrial sonicator
A production building adapted for the production of innovative card and board games, protected with biocidal varnish, was also built.
Stanisław Wiązowski: The implementation of the project made it possible to extend our offer with innovative products protected with a biocidal coating. This increased the competitiveness of the company on the market, boosted its production capacity, and also built the image of a modern brand, investing in knowledge and new technologies.
