Improving the competitiveness of CC METAL by implementing a design strategy.
CC METAL was founded in 2010 as a producer of steel and aluminium elements for the construction industry. Over time, CC METAL expanded its business to include specialist designing of structures for the building industry, laboratory and teaching workstations, and specialised devices made individually to order.
The main aim of the project was to increase the company’s competitiveness on the market by implementing the recommendations indicated in the design strategy developed under Stage 2 of Action 1.4 of EPOP.

Over time, CC METAL expanded its business to include specialist designing of structures for the building industry, laboratory and teaching workstations, and specialised devices made individually to order.
The main aim of the project was to increase the company’s competitiveness on the market by implementing the recommendations indicated in the design strategy developed under Stage 2 of Action 1.4 of EPOP.
The company realised the project by introducing product innovations in the form of design reinforcement within the current offer, and introducing new designs of teaching stations. The company’s offer was also expanded to include its own product – smart storage systems for workshop spaces and for museum spaces.
In line with the recommendations from the design strategy, a new brand image was created for CC METAL and a new product brand was designed for business clients of STORIA , dedicated to new products.
An organisational innovation was also introduced, with changes being made within the company structure (new positions, competencies supplemented), as well as technological innovation involving modernisation of the machine park and equipping the process line with fixed assets necessary to implement the product innovation.
Realisation of the project has contributed to a strengthening of the CC METAL brand on both the domestic and foreign markets, and allowed the company to increase its competitiveness. This has enabled the company to acquire new clients and significantly increase profits.
