Centrum Medycyny Regeneracyjnej
The purpose of establishing the Regenerative Medicine Center (RMC) is to create an integrated team of laboratories equipped with innovative equipment for animal research.
In RMC – in accordance with the generally accepted principle of “one world – one health” – projects are implemented on the borderline of medicine and veterinary medicine in the field of physiology and pathophysiology of diseases, research on diseases and diseases that pose a threat to broadly understood public health and innovative research in the field of highly specialized medicine regenerative. Scientists associated with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences have gained space to conduct ultra-modern, interdisciplinary and innovative research on the borderline of nanotechnology, tissue engineering and transplantology.
The aim of the CMR project is to increase the research potential of the Mazowsze Region, which will allow us to compete in the field of research on an animal model not only in the country but also abroad. The integration of the Veterinary Research Center (VRC) and the Biometric Research Center (BRC) in one facility, as well as the creation of a new operating room (e.g. in a magnetic field), laboratories and laboratories at the highest world level, will allow for conducting innovative research in the field of biomedical sciences , with particular emphasis on the pioneering and extremely dynamically developing field of regenerative medicine.
The combination of experience gained in medicine and veterinary medicine allows for the creation of unique animal experimental models with the possibility of applying the results in human medicine, conducting innovative nano and biotechnological experiments. A special and unique feature of the RMC is the ability to perform research on an animal model, which creates great development and application opportunities under the conditions of the applicable provisions of the Act on the Protection of Animals Used for Scientific and Educational Purposes. The RMC will carry out modern projects on the border of medicine and veterinary medicine, in the field of physiology and pathophysiology of diseases (on an animal model, understood as a model for humans), research on diseases and diseases that pose a threat to broadly understood public health (including lifestyle diseases) and innovative research in highly specialized regenerative medicine.
