Development of the Klimkówka Reservoir
Thanks to European Funds, the waterfront of Lake Klimkowskie, or the popular “Klimkówka”, has gained a new face. Visitors to this place can enjoy 15 charming compact beaches, perfect for relaxing outdoors. Moreover, 350-meter-long bicycle paths enable cycling enthusiasts to be active.
Further, boaters gained access to a modern mooring pier and a safe place to launch their boats. A shelter with a barbecue and sanitary facilities was built near the WOPR station. This area was designed to provide a pleasant way to spend time and relax in a natural setting, while meeting the needs of people with disabilities. A lighting system has also been established there to enjoy the charms of the lake even after dark.
