Establishment of a business incubator on the territory of the Municipality of the City of Krosno
The project includes the construction of an office and production building of the business incubator along with internal installations: electricity, water supply, sewage, ventilation refrigeration and air conditioning, as well as with external infrastructure: land development (parking lots and internal roads), fencing, two exits and basic equipment.
The general objective of the project is to increase the level of entrepreneurship and self-employment in the area of the Krosno MOF and to support economic development, including innovative activities.
The target group of the project recipients are micro, small and medium enterprises. It is assumed that the Incubator’s offer will be used “permanently” by about 11 incubated companies, i.e. those that are given support at the initial stage of their activities. These companies will be provided with consulting support and will use the Incubator’s office, or warehouse and production resources. A production hall will be built, in which a dozen production and service modules will be set aside for the incubator’s beneficiaries. Through the provision of a modern incubator , equipped with the basic fixed assets necessary to start a business (office and conference room equipment) and the creation of a wide range of services such as consulting and specialized services for incubated companies, the objectives of priority axis I and the objective of measure 1.3 will be realized. The implementation of the project will allow to create better conditions for the creation and development of SMEs.
The undertaking is in line with the regional smart specialization defined in the Regional Innovation Strategy 2014-2020 for smart specialization (RIS3)-the project assumes that the incubator will be oriented towards the following industries: aerospace, quality of life, automotive, IT and telecommunications. As a result of the project, the availability of land and infrastructure offering business conditions will increase.
