Regional Information Platform - Culture in Mazovia
Mazowsze moves 26 of its cultural institutions to the virtual space. What does this mean in practice? Without leaving home, we will be able to walk around Mazovian open-air museums in Sierpc and Radom, admire the interiors of the State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, the castle in Liwa or the Museum of Sport and Tourism.
The aim of the project is to publish standardized electronic services on one common regional platform. The implemented back-office systems will, on the one hand, ensure the standardization of activities in the field of e-services of cultural institutions, and on the other hand, facilitate, streamline and automate access to the offered cultural events, ensure data exchange between institutions and standardize electronic services.
As part of the project, museum collections are digitized and virtual walks are created, which will be made available on the websites of cultural institutions and on the Regional Cultural Platform. An additional advantage is the possibility of using VR goggles, which transfer the observer into the virtual world of the museum.
The project completion date is March 2023.
