Modernization and expansion of the Ada Sari Center of Culture and Art in Stary Sącz for the needs of cultural activities and education as well as social activity of the inhabitants.
The EU grant helped create a modern, multifunctional center in the heart of Stary Sącz – a meeting place for older and younger residents and tourists with a broadly understood culture. The building at Rynek 5 was renovated and extended. On the side of Kopernika Street, a new part was added, consisting of two above-ground storeys and two hidden underground. As a result, over 1,000 m2 of additional space was gained, which will serve not only the local community. A contemporary art gallery was established in the underground levels. The facility also includes a workshop room, a multimedia studio, an art studio with access to the observation deck, a ballet room and a club room, where the Klub Pegaz youth club operates. The Frida Art Café is open on the ground floor.
