Construction of a new section of provincial road No. 984 from Piątkowiec through Rzędzianowice to Sienkiewicza Street in Mielec together with the construction of a bridge on the Wisłoka River - stage I
The main objective of the project is to increase the transport accessibility of the province in road traffic by building a new section of the province road and creating an additional bridge crossing over the Wisłoka river.
The investment aims at streamlining traffic in the northern part of Mielec County, improving the passage and unloading of heavy traffic in Mielec, and consequently strengthening the cohesion of the road network and economic development of the region. The investment includes the construction of a new section of provincial road No. 984 from provincial road No. 983 to the Tuszów Narodowy – Mielec – Rzochów county road, including a section of the P4 link. The total length of the section under construction is 2.81 km and the load capacity is 115 kN/oś.
The project was completed:
- construction of four one-level crossings with intersecting roads, including sections of the connection, including 3 traffic circle crossings and 1 regular crossroads with widened inlets,
- building a bridge over the Wisłoka River (class A) and culverts,
- reconstruction and construction of new sidewalks and bicycle paths,
- building a road drainage system,
- construction/reconstruction of lighting,
- construction/reconstruction or protection of colliding external infrastructure devices of all the industries involved in the investment area,
- construction of required environmental protection equipment,
- execution of road marking and road safety devices (including traffic lights and crosswalks),
- construction of individual and public congresses and other preparatory, auxiliary and ordering works.
