Increased competitiveness of RStechnology Adam Rachfał through the implementation of a significantly improved production service in the field of manufacture of pillow plates for heat exchange structures and systems, especially of high capacity and pressure requirements.
The main activity of RStechnology Adam Rachfał comprises production of stainless steel devices and provision of welding services at home and abroad. The project consisted in the launching on the market by RStechnology of a significantly improved production service: manufacture of pillow plates for high-pressure and high-capacity structures and systems, used by the metal sector and directly by the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) industries. The product, manufactured as a result of a significantly improved service of the Applicant, has a number of unique qualities: increased energy efficiency, a broad scope of applications (resistance to high pressure, lower risk of tightness loss) and longer lifespan. The production service, innovative on a global scale, not only helped reduce investment expenditure incurred by industries on purchasing inefficient heat exchangers (more expensive, with significantly worse energy efficiency and shorter lifespan), but also contributed to the implementation of the sustainable development principle, e.g. owing to the economical production process.
As part of the project implementation, the company purchased a technological line for cutting metal sheets, a laser for welding polycarbonate sheets, a 2D waterjet cutting machine, a station for pressure tests and polycarbonate sheet tests and a shotblasting chamber, and built a modern production hall with social and administrative facilities.

The project responded to the needs of many sectors, e.g. food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, in which manufacturers need to store their products in specific temperatures. Furthermore, the use of pillow plates has a positive impact on the environment through reduction in energy consumption. The project contributed significantly to the development of the company on the European market. Moreover, as a result of the construction of a modern hall with social and administrative facilities, many new jobs were created.
