The alu-frost company produces side sills, bumper covers and other car accessories. The company is known not only in Poland, but also in many countries in the European Union.
Bumper and sill covers protect the car and provide additional tuning. The company makes them from acid-resistant stainless steel, which works well in various adverse weather conditions. Using the latest technologies, alu-frost creates products of high quality and with unique pattern.
The company reached for co-funding from the regional programme in order to develop their business and increase its competitiveness. The aim of the project was to implement the results of R&D works into production. The company carried out R&D works in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Białystok University of Technology.
As a result of the work carried out, the company designed an anti-skid sill for the car. It prevents slipping, as well as protects the sill against corrosion.
In order to implement a new product, the beneficiary bought three devices: a laser, a steel crane with a boom and a vacuum gripper, and a press brake with dedicated software. Thanks to these devices, the company introduced an innovative product. The company recycles production waste.
Additionally, the beneficiary has implemented a production management system and new packaging, which can be recycled.
