Zakres geograficzny i obszar oddziaływania: Przedsięwzięcie zlokalizowane będzie na terenie woj. śląskiego, w miastach: Mysłowice, Sosnowiec oraz Będzin. Zakres przedmiotowy: Projekt pn. „Przebudowa gazociągu relacji Dąbrowa Górnicza – Szopienice” ma na celu modernizację wybranych odcinków sieci gazowej wysokiego ciśnienia, co pozwoli zwiększyć bezpieczeństwo dostaw paliwa gazowego do odbiorców komunalnych (głównie osiedla mieszkaniowe) i przemysłowych (zakłady produkcyjne wykorzystujące paliwo gazowe zarówno do celów technologicznych, jak i celów komunalnych) zasilanych z tego gazociągu. Nowy gazociąg budowany będzie równolegle do gazociągu „starego”. Zakres rzeczowy Projektu obejmuje przebudowę gazociągu wysokiego ciśnienia MOP 2,5 MPa o dł. ok. 6,12 km
