The partners of „Museums over the borders. Stage II” project again reunite efforts to accomplish common objectives withinnew project, which is aimed at contributing to the preservation and promotion of cultural and historical heritage of crossborder region. The goal is to make cultural exchange more accessible and exciting for visitors. In order to achieve the goal partners decided to create open museum spaces and new internal area filled with technical equipment, thematic content and adapted for families with children, seniors and persons with disabilities. To make an impact and help to enhance tourist potential of the region and popularize its cultural and historical heritage it is planned to create special tourist center – a multimedia area with the presentation of digital collections and exhibitions. Important part of the project is the creation of platform for the education with application of new methods of management of cultural heritage and the development and marketing of joint tourism products. These activities are aimed to increase the working potential in the management in cultural field. The work result is the publication of a brochure, which cultural and tourism managers will be able to use in the future. A significant joint activity of partners is a production the film „Testimonies – part II. Post-war settlers”, which will be created with the experience and collected information within the “Museums over the borders” project. The film will be a part of the permanent exhibitions of both museums and a multimedia area and become another cultural and historical link uniting neighboring territories. To achieve the objectives of project it is set to apply a systemic integrated approach, combining of the implementation of project activities and managing and coordinating actions with a use of partners experience and constant communication. Such approach will ensure the effective implementation of the project and stainability of its products and results.
