2014 - 2020

BASTER is a manufacturer of artisanal dog accessories. Its product range includes leashes, collars, harnesses, identification harnesses and dogtrekking belts and ropes. They are dedicated to both those who actively spend time with dogs and those involved in training them, among others professional rescue services such as: Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue (GOPR), Tatra Volunteer Search and Rescue (TOPR), Fire Brigade, Police and Volunteer Water Rescue Service (WOPR).

As part of the project, the Applicant purchased professional design services, which consequently allowed it to introduce innovative products, including:

  • life jackets to keep dogs safe during water rescue operations,
  • insulating mats necessary to protect dogs from hypothermia during training and outdoor work,
  • roll-pulka – a cart designed for one of the disciplines of mushing and for amateur mountain hiking with a dog,
  • training organiser for keeping work accessories during training and workouts,
  • travel accessories to make travelling with your dog easier.

The design process consisted of all the necessary elements, from diagnosis, synthesis and analysis, solution development, to prototyping and testing. A welding machine, a sewing machine and a fusing machine were bought to implement the new accessories.

Andrzej Górowski: our new accessories’ visual and functional features distinguish them from the products of our competitors. Thanks to the consistent image these accessories’, it is easy to remember them and associate with our brand, which translates into better BASTER’s brand identity in the domestic and international markets. It also makes it possible to achieve the desired economic effects.
