METBOX KURPAS SP. J. specialises in producing specialised trailers for transporting dogs. To make these unique products, the company uses high class modern technology.

The subject of this project was to design and launch dog trailers equipped with a unique, integrated sleeping annex for the dogs’ guardian, trainer or guide.

As part of this project, the beneficiary made use of the external consultancy services of TENKA, the company responsible for auditing in the project, preparing a strategy of actions necessary to develop the new design project, creating a concept and producing the design of the trailer including complete technical documentation. The final stage of the work was to build and test-drive the fully functional prototype of the product.

These actions resulted in the beneficiary launching a dog trailer with an entirely new functionality. The product is innovative not only in the context of the beneficiary’s range, but also on the whole specialised dog trailer market.

The trailer, designed by Michał Latko, was created with a mind to people who spend a lot of time at training and competitions. The target group for the product includes trainers, rescue teams and service personnel.

Initiating production of the new trailer involved the beneficiary using specialised devices in the production process to enable the various parts to be produced with great precision, while maintaining a guarantee of a top quality end product. As the company did not have any such devices of its own, the scope of the project also involved purchasing these.

Thanks to the subsidy, the aim of the project was fully realised. METBOX consequently saw a major increase in its competitiveness, not only on the domestic market, but also internationally.
