Restoration of the ecological continuity of the Vistula and the lower sections of the Soła and Skawa rivers
As part of the project, the coherence of the Natura 2000 network will be restored and the historic ecological corridors connecting the Vistula with the Soła and Skawa rivers will be recreated.
The aim of the project is to improve the ecological status of the waters of the Vistula, Soła and Skawa rivers. The strategic goal of the project will be achieved as a result of the implementation of the main investment activity of the project involving the unblocking of 9 hydrotechnical barriers located on the section of the Vistula River between the mouth of the Soła and Skawa rivers, the Skawa section from the Świnna Poręba dam to its mouth and the Soła section from the dam in Czaniec to the estuary.
