“Increasing the availability of regional rail transport in the Pomeranian Voivodeship through its integration with local transport”
The subject of the project is the construction and implementation of the Electronic Platform for Integrated Mobility Services (PZUM), which will allow optimally plan and pay for travel by rail and local communication in the area where agglomeration or voivodship passenger rail transport is carried out.
The main goal of the investment is to improve the accessibility of public transport, in particular rail, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, reduce traffic congestion and increase mobility.
Thanks to the implementation of PZUM, the share of public collective transport in the total number of residents’ journeys will increase.
An Electronic Platform for Integrated Mobility Services will be created as part of the Project, and Customer Service Points will be equipped.
The system which will be implemented in Pomeranian Voivodeship is a revolution in the way local governments think about ticket integration. This is the solution which allows to gather on a single e-platform all the principles of operation of public transport of Pomeranian Voivodeship. None of the transport operators will loose their autonomy and yet thanks to electronic integration they will all function as one structure. The essence of the integrated mobility e-platform is the fact, that passengers will be given an advanced tool allowing for simple and intuitive use of public transport in whole Pomeranian Voivodeship.
