Development and increase of competitiveness of KROFAM sp. z o.o through implementation of a design strategy
The main objective of the project was to increase the competitiveness and development potential of KROFAM Sp. z o.o. in terms of its industrial design. This goal was achieved through the implementation of the recommendations formulated in the first stage of measure 1.4. of the Operational Programme Eastern Poland (POPW), concerning the design and launch of new products, new production technologies and new marketing tools. This enabled KROFAM to introduce product, process, organisational and marketing innovations to the market.
This aim was accomplished through:
- Purchase of specialist consulting services related to the development of new product designs;
- Purchase of new production equipment to introduce the product innovation – bathroom furniture collections – on the market;
- Implementation of internal activities aimed at introducing design into the company’s operations.
The project’s indirect objective, succesfully met, was to increase the potential of the enterprise from Eastern Poland by developing design and launching new products.
