Bieszczad-ski - revitalisation flywheel for the development of the Olszanica Commune
The project includes the implementation of four, coherent and inseparably interrelated tasks, whose joint implementation will enable not only a comprehensive and permanent revitalization of the degraded area, but will also ensure its further, successive and stable development in subsequent years, which will result in a definite improvement in prospects for young people (currently forced to leave these areas in search of work), as well as raise the living standards of all residents. The scope of the project includes:1. Bieszczad-ski – Active Tourism Centre – construction of a chairlift with necessary technical facilities, construction of multi-functional public building with necessary equipment, monitoring system and RES installations2. Bieszczady Recreation and Training Centre – giving new functions to an old disused school through its reconstruction and extension into a hotel and training facility together with necessary equipment, monitoring system, RES installations and land development for an outdoor activity zone3. Preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and local traditions – renovation of a historic church and installation of a monitoring system4. Adaptation of a former school canteen building to become the seat and social facilities of the Social Integration Centre of Olszanica Commune, together with a monitoring system and RES installations
