Development of a flood risk monitoring, early warning and programming system
The scope of the investment includes: expansion of the existing monitoring system of flood protection devices; inclusion in the monitoring system of 52 new objects located on the rivers: Wełna, Mała Wełna, Kanał Wilczak, Kanał Środkowy Obra, Rgilewka, Powa, Bawół, Kanał Ślesiński, Rudnik, Struga Bawół, Kanał Biechowski, Moskawa, Kanał Miłosławski, Prosna, Swędrnia ( Greater Poland Voivodeship).
The aim of the project is to develop a flood risk monitoring, early warning and programming system in 32 communes of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Thanks to the investment, it will be possible to supply the residents of the above-mentioned municipalities with measuring and monitoring devices about the risk. In order to correctly select the measuring devices, flow calculations will be made on the basis of the limit values of the minimum, maximum and alarm levels for individual measurement points and the zero point of the reference gauge staff in relation to the sea level (above sea level). Elements of telemetry devices will be installed in the facilities. To ensure communication and data exchange between measurement and control devices, it is planned to use GPRS-based controllers in a separate secure APN network, via telecommunications services, within the GSM network. The application of the solution will enable the transfer of data to the existing field and central servers in a set time interval or from events occurring in a given facility. Depending on the group in which the given facility is located, the appropriate type of telemetry modules, adequate to the type of power supply and data sending rules, are to be used.
The implementation of the task will ensure flood protection of surrounding areas.
