Deployment of a new manufacturing technology for panel radiators
The main objective of the project was to boost the competitiveness and innovation of Instal-Projekt.
That intention was achieved through the implementation of an innovative manufacturing technology for panel radiators, making it possible to market new and improved products.
Those effects are the result of the company’s own development work, patent-pending.
The key elements of the project to have been delivered include:
- a new automatic, highly efficient dual-line powder coating system,
- a milling plotter, enabling precise processing of panels for the manufacture of radiators,
- a robotic adhesive dispensing station that ensures repetitive application of precisely determined doses of adhesive to bind panel screens with other radiator components.
Instal-Projekt: The implementation of the project has contributed to marketing brand-new products, as well as significantly improving the existing products and increasing production capacity.
New solutions have enabled us to:
- raise the quality of our products (higher corrosion resistance, better heat transfer parameters) making it possible to extend the warranty to at least 9 years,
- obtain an environmental effect due to more efficient use of powder coatings, elimination of hazardous waste (modern sewage treatment plant),
- at least a 4-fold increase in the capacity of the new paint shop.
