Implementing the results of independently conducted R&D work in the business of WOPROL.
WORPOL has been active on the market for almost 40 years. It is a Polish manufacturer of technologically advanced agricultural machines. Its offer includes 25 specialised devices, including fertiliser spreaders, orchard equipment and suspended and towed sprayers. There are 80 sales points with WORPOL brand products in Poland alone.
The purpose of the project was to implement the results of R&D work conducted independently by WOPROL.
The results concerned a significantly improved product in the form of an innovative fertiliser spreader.
The technology developed by the beneficiary served as the basis for initiating production of the spreader within the company’s business. For the end user, this is a product with new, desirable functional and operational properties.
Practically all agricultural producers who use spreaders for fertiliser are potential customers of this innovative product. This means that the beneficiary has an unlimited target market.
The project was initiated in response to the need for the beneficiary to diversify their product range. Realisation of this undertaking has enabled the company to become more attractive and aim the new product at both domestic and foreign customers.
Launching the product on the international market gave the beneficiary an opportunity to build up and maintain a competitive advantage over the leading globally operating companies which have fertiliser spreaders i their product ranges.
The project has contributed to an expansion of the company and the creation of new jobs, and has generated an increase in revenue from sales of the new product. WORPOL has acquired the status of a significant European manufacturer of fertiliser spreaders.
