Laboratory of the Young Master and Explorer
Epi-Centrum Nauki is the official name of the laboratory that was established as part of the project. It is a unique and exciting place where science meets fun. There is no boredom here. The centre has been designed so that everyone can find something for themselves, regardless of age.
Epi-Centre consists of 2 separate zones. The first one is the Little Explorers’ Zone – an educational space for children. Guides – Zmysłek and Majka Pytajka – are waiting for the visitors to help children discover the fascinating world of science. There are five thematic areas in the Little Explorer Zone: Learning and knowledge, Knowing your body, Technology, Building world, Water energy and the Little Explorer’s Laboratory. Importantly, all experiences and games are adapted to the child’s ability to perceive, which allows them to explore science freely.
The second zone is the Main Exhibition. This place is aimed at people of all ages. There are almost 100 experimental stands on its territory. The zone can accommodate 200 people at the same time. Everyone can decide for themselves the order in which they will visit the exhibition. The Main Exhibition covers several thematic areas. There are stands in such areas as: optics, transport, telecommunications, medicine, automation, robotics, mechanics, energy, electromobility and many others. There are also organized classes and workshops enabling participants to have direct contact with science.
Epi-Centre of Science is a unique meeting place for children, teenagers and adults, inspiring to discover and understand the world through independent experimentation. The centre is to popularize knowledge, innovation, development of technical thought and modern technologies.
