Project description:
The project will be carried out in the Kłodawa municipality, along district road No. 1409 F – Kłodawa – Chwalęcice section. There are currently no bicycle lanes or separate bicycle lanes in the project area. The technical condition of the roadsides poses a threat to road users, especially pedestrians and cyclists. The subject of the proposed project is to create the conditions for the safe and seamless use of alternative (zero emission) means of transport within the MOF GW.
The objectives of the project are:
- Construction of a bicycle path in the Kłodawa municipality serving as a transport corridor between Kłodawa and Chwalęcice.
- Reduction of low emission of pollutants from the transport sector in the Kłodawa Municipality by creating optimal conditions for the development of ecological transport.
- Improvement of conditions and quality of life of the inhabitants of MOF Gorzów Wlkp.
- Increase in the competitiveness of the economy of MOF Gorzów Wielkopolski and the sustainable development of the Lubuskie region.
The target group of the project are the residents of MOF GW. The project will allow increasing the road safety by transferring cycling traffic from the county road. The direct result will be an annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 3.86 tonnes of CO2/year equivalent.
