Vocational Education Center at ul. Warszawska in Gorzów Wlkp. as part of the Vocational and Business Education Center
The project consists in creating a vocational training infrastructure (1 pc.) – Vocational Education Center (CEZ) in the former Hospital Complex at ul. Warszawska in Gorzów Wlkp., meaning a modern complex of post-secondary vocational schools (M. Kopernik Construction and Motor Vehicle Engineering School Complex, Zesłańcy Sybiru Mechanical Engineering School Complex, and the Vocational Education Center), based on the synergy of schools with employers (dual education system) and focused on teaching professions sought by the current labor market as well as proactively selecting studies useful in the future. The project tasks include changing the manner of using the area covered by the support through comprehensive modernization of facilities, their adaptation and renovation including demolishing some of the existing facilities, as well as constructing new facilities and land development. Infrastructure facilities of educational organizational units (6) will be properly equipped, in particular with modern equipment for the purposes of practical vocational training. The project also includes preparing a concept and design documentation, developing SW and information to the application, investor and author’s supervision, as well as the project’s promotion. Implementing the project will increase the availability and improve the conditions of vocational education and training in the area of MOF GW (main project goal). The investment is aimed primarily at students/course participants/users of CEZ, local and regional entrepreneurs, as well as students of the Electrical Engineering School Complex and the Sports Mastery School Complex, because the buildings abandoned by school complexes directly covered by the support will be handed over to the above-mentioned schools. Through planned activities, including in the field of professional pre-orientation, CEZ will also act as an institution popularizing science and innovation. The project is crucial for the development of MOF GW and the entire Lubuskie voivodeship. The project will be implemented by Gorzów Wlkp., which will also be the operator of the newly created infrastructure. Apart from qualified human resources, the applicant possesses all the resources necessary to implement the investment.
