Making the eastern part of the Mazowsze region more attractive to tourists through restoration of the historical palace and park complex in Korczew on the Bug River
The palace in Korczew, situated in the eastern reaches of Mazovia, has – following years of oblivion and destruction – regained its former character as given to it in 1734 by Aleksander Kuczyński. The finance obtained from European Funds enabled restoration of the palace and park complex. The palace underwent conservation work, while essential fittings were also purchased for the orangery, exhibition rooms, theatre hall and the „Norwid” room. The foundation plans to establish an initiative under the name „Korczew Cultural Incubator” in Korczew. The palace in Korczew should become a vibrant cultural and educational centre.
